I spent almost 20 hours and $500 prepping and painting my garage floor with grey epoxy paint. This product clearly says for garage floors and clearly says it's CLEAR. It's not! It's a pale brown/yellow. Now I have to reprep, repaint and retopcoat the entire floor. VERY UNHAPPY!!!!!

this is by far one of the worst products I’ve ever purchased for varnish. Not even one year and it peels off like a bad sunburn. we used on multiple different products, finishes and types of wood, one things consistent it didn’t last a year.

Q: what is in this stuff, what oil- Tung? what resin? , there are no ingredients on can, can not find spec sheet

A: Armor Coat Spar varnish is an Exterior Hi-gloss varnish made with oil-based resin for wood. It gives a plastic finish once dry. It’s comparable to a urethane. Give it 2 coats, at least 16 hours between coats.
