Cloudy to Clear in 24 hours

Our pool was cloudy and 24 hours after using this, the water is clear again. Our water tests had been showing perfect chemistry but we couldn’t get rid of the cloudiness. I think the next step will be to change the sand in our filter, but this helped it work more efficiently.

Used all five tablets (now tablets not liquid in packaging) on my standard 14ft above ground pool. Water wasn't that green to start with only slightly cloudy but this product did nothing! I let the skimmer cycle for 12 hours and no change. Don't waste your money junk product just spend more on better algaecide.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Can you place the tablets right in with the filter if you don't have a skimmer on your pool

A: If this is the one in the form of a small sack (not an actual tablet), I don't think it would would work as well if put in the filter. In fact, if you read the Qs and As Aquarius is not consistent -- in one case it says you can put it directly in a filter, but in another response it says it does not recommend putting it in a filter. I'm no expert, but it makes sense that the product would work best in the skimmer where it will bond with the particles making the water cloudy, then pass through the filter. It makes less sense to have that process take place in the filter where some particles may pass through before bonding, etc. I will note that we have a large pool (175,000 litres) and on the rare occasion it has been cloudy, these clarifying "sacks" have worked wonders. No waiting, no vacuuming, cheap -- a great "quick fix". So if you can get Aquarius to unequivocally confirm you can use it in a filter, I'd say go for it!

A: Hello, The Quick Klear works directly within the filter to enhance its filtration efficiency, essentially fine-tuning your filtration system. After 48-72 hours, you will need to backwash or clean your cartridge to maintain optimal performance. Clear It is a liquid clarifier designed to agglomerate particles, such as pollen, making them larger and easier for the filter to capture.
