Missing Lid for Anchor Hocking TrueSeal Storage Set

I recently purchased an Anchor Hocking Premium TrueSeal Storage Set, Assorted Sizes, 7 Count (Item #142-8300-0). Upon opening the set, I discovered that the lid for the 7-cup container was missing. Unfortunately, I no longer have the original packaging, but I do have my receipt as proof of purchase.
I visited the store to inquire about a resolution, such as exchanging the set or obtaining a replacement lid, but was informed that nothing could be done. I was disappointed to learn that replacement TrueSeal lids are not available for individual purchase, leaving me with an incomplete product.
I am concerned that a product sold by Canadian Tire was either tampered with or improperly checked before sale, resulting in the missing lid. As a reputable retailer, I trust that Canadian Tire takes responsibility for ensuring all products sold are complete and in good condition. I would like someone to take ownership of this issue and provide me with the missing lid.

It's a little early for a thorough review, since we've only had these a week or two. However, it's looking good. These containers don't have the snap on poly lids that are known to crack in long term use, but rather have a silicone, or silicone-like material for the lids, so we're looking to use these for some years to come. The particular set we bought has a useful spread of sizes, and so far, have worked well for our needs.

A: I have never used it in the oven, just the microwave without the lid. They have a rubber lid so they seal well. It should say on the box if you could bake in it. :)

Q: Can these bowls/lids be stored one inside the other the way my older set of Anchor Hocking bowls do? It's obvious that not all of the bowls would fit inside another because there are some multiples of same-sized bowls, but will the small, medium and larger ones fit inside one another with the lids on, for storage purposes?

A: The set is designed to “nest” inside of each of other where sizes vary. Lids will need to be stored separately if nesting the bowls. Otherwise, the bowls can be stacked with lids placed on.

Q: Are the lids difficult to remove? I am thinking of hand or grip strength required. How do they compare to ziplock, snaptop, etc.?

A: The Premium TrueSeal Lids in this set are made of a Silicone double wall outer ring construction that includes a convenient Pull Tab that allows for ease of removal and reapplication of the lids as well.

Q: true seal lids Do you sell packages of just the true seal lids. I would like to replace my old flat lids that are tearing apart. The dishes are still fine but the lids are split. Or can you order them for a customer?

A: While lids are available for purchase from Anchor via the Website in the US there is not currently a source in Canada to purchase lids.
