Service at the store is always great! Unfortunately this item needs to come off the shelf as the rubber spline has deteriorated, it is brittle and no pliable. Item was returned.

Q: Will it keep squirrels from chewing through it?

A: Im not sure if it will keep squirrels from chewing through it. I originally bought it to try to put screens in the back window of my van so that I could camp in it. However I ended up taking it down and using something else.

Q: Can you please clarify if the width of 36" is the exact size of the screen provided in this kit (aka extra included), or the measured width of the door the screen will be going into? My door is exactly 36", so I will need a product with width overage.
