No mounting hardware.

I buy a lot from Canadian Tire and I am usually very satisfied. I bought this thermometer and there is no mounting hardware to install it outside so it basically garbage. Do not buy!

Je suppose que cela aurait été trop difficile pour le manufacturier de prévoir une coche plus large à l'arrière pour l'accrocher au mur. J'ai réussi à dénicher une minuscule vis qui convenait, mais ce n'est pas super solide. Quant à la précision, c'est couci-couça, mais avec ce genre de thermomètre il faut s'y attendre. Aucun de mes thermomètres, même placés côte à côte n'indiquent exactement la même température.

Q: Is this thermometer mercury filled?

A: How do I know if my thermometer contains mercury? How can I tell if my thermometer has mercury? Mercury is a silver-white to gray substance. If your thermometer is filled with a red liquid, your thermometer contains red dyed alcohol or mineral spirits and not mercury. These are safer alternatives to mercury fever thermometers.
