Q: Self rinsing? The description is confusing- saying it is “self rinsing” but then to spray and rinse. Which is it? And it it needs to be rinsed off, with what that won’t damage a ductless split system. Thanks.

A: I had to rinse. I used a lawn and garden sprayer with a good sponge and towels to catch the water when cleaning the inside unit of my ductless/split air conditioner.

Q: can this be used to clean refrigerator condense coil?

A: It worked on an air conditioner which had condenser coils. Sprayed it in a drainage hole & on the exposed coils. Black sludge oozed out of the machine. Dirt & mold I’m guessing. The product made it run better & removed musty smell. It was extremely messy tho & am glad I did it outside.

Q: Would this clean dirt and mould out of my through the wall AC? Looking for something to remove an unpleasant mildew like odour from the unit. I am clueless on how to use this and what to do...Thanks!

A: I had a bad problem with mold in my RV AC unit last summer. This stuff might help with getting rid of dirt, but it didn't help at all with my mold problem. After a few other things that also didn't help, I finally got rid of the problem with Concrobium Mold Control (available at CT and most other hardware stores). That stuff worked perfectly.
