A: HIGHER = filters better. MERV 20 is cleanroom quality filtering. I would not downgrade.

Q: I'm with Maggie on this one. Why does a 3-pack contain 2 different types of 25x16x1 filters?? Am I supposed to use the lower MPR's in the winter months and the high MPR one in the spring maybe when pollen etc. is the highest?? Why not sell a 4-pk?
