This Sandpaper features a tough, long-lasting aluminum oxide abrasive available in a wide range of grits. The paper's bonded construction increases its durability and resists clogging for longer sheet life, making it ideal at every stage of the 3M™ Body Repair System.

Designed for sanding primers, sealers, lacquers, and paints
Can be used wet or dry
Dry sanding saves you from having to dry the surface to check the progress of your work
Wet sanding works more quickly, holds down the dust and reduces clogging of the sandpaper
220 Grit is used to shape and sand body filler
400 Grit is used to refine 220 grit scratches prior to applying base coat
800 and 1000 grit are used to scuff the blend area prior to applying base coat paint
2000 Grit is used for sanding clear coat for paint finishing
Use during Stages 3 and 4 of the 3M body repair system

Q: Is the "2000 grit" rated in the North American CAMI standard or is it really "P2000" grit in the European FEPA standard? Apparently, 3M does not label their sandpaper properly for anything above 1000.
