Impossible to use

I watched all the videos and tried various methods to apply to my job. Nothing worked. It applies easily to the object but it is impossible to take off the second side. You'll be wasting your money buying this product buy something that has a distinctly different material for a backing so it will be possible to remove the backing.

Extremely durable and strong

I’d choose this over the slightly cheaper version for its stronger hold. I used it on my car door speakers and wiring more than five years ago, and when I opened the panel last week, it was still holding like a champ. The only downside is that it leaves a bit of residue when removed, unlike the clear version which comes off cleanly — though the residue can still be completely removed with a little adhesive remover. Overall, it’s a great product — highly recommended for its strength, just be mindful of where you use it.

We cannot guarantee this would work with your car's dashboard- also, this tape does have a permanent bond & could damage the surface of the dashboard if removed. Q: how long is this expected to last and to hold up? will the adhesive eventually dry up and or yellow and fail? is it recommended to change the adhesive strips after some time to prevent future fail & drop of whatever is being held up?
