The size doesn’t fit.

Run slightly bigger… doesn’t fit. I had to purchase brand. My disappointment is that I’m reading olds comments and reviews (about 2 years ago) and looks like the brand is not interested to fix this issue.

Runs Slightly large and Doesn't Fit

I cannot comment of how well the filter works but wanted to comment on the Fit. I purchased the 1085 Allergen Defense Air Filter in 14x14x1 , 14x30x1 and 20x30x1 sizes. None of them fit. I was able to squeeze the 14x14 sized filter by slightly bending one side but has to bend much more of the larger filters to force the fit. I previously had the basic Filtrete filters in the same sizes and they fit with no problem but I wanted to upgrade my filter. Unfortunately, the upgrades version is just slightly larger despite being the same sizes. I will return this product and either have to go with the basic filter or find a higher quality filter by a different brand .

Minor glitch

Been using the 2200 smart filters for a couple of years. Every time I hit the three month mark, the Bluetooth stops transmitting even though I still have 25% filter life left. For the price paid, I expect more.

A: Micro Particle and Airborne Allergen Reduction Hammock Filter: - Provides 6 months of clean air performance under normal circumstances. - Electrostatically charged Filtrete(TM) filters work like tiny magnets to attract airborne particles. - Outperforms all other fiberglass hammock filters at removing airborne allergens of Pet Dander, Mould and Bacteria, and Microparticles of Smoke and Dust Four easy instructions: 1) Remove old filter from furnace. Use old filter as a pattern to trim your new filter. 2) Cut the new filter to the correct size. 3) Install the new filter against the wire basket. Note: if you have problems getting the media on the clamp, cut 1/2" long slits in the mesh. 4) Record the date to change your filter (typically 6 months) on the reminder sticker located inside this package. Place on your calendar or refrigerator for easy reference.
