    Great product

We use this at a collision center and just used it to remove black window adhesive from a light gray headliner and not only did it remove it but it it did not smear the adhesive at all.

I had a liquid quart can of this for years and glad to see their is an aerosol can version. Adhesive removal is only one use. I have used it to clean varnish off of carburetor parts and any baked on residue on car parts. Works incredibly well. While a very strong product, I have used it on the paint to remove stubborn spots without any damage. Every car guy should have a can of this stuff

    Yes, I recommend this product.

My MG had some very dried black tree sap. After trying GooBeGon, WD40, isopropyl alcohol, I read about this on the Griots site. The reviews were very positive and recommended by Griot's. It easily removed the numerous spots, the thicker spots required a repeated application.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

This remover is, at least for my needs, another outstanding product from Griot's. I had several places of dried on pitch on my 7 Series. With very little effort the pitch came right off — and I had previously tried all sorts of remedies. Thankfully, I did a search at the Griot's website and purchased this item. It is also great at removing precisely what its name implies from beneath removed labels.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

The main reason I purchased this item was to remove gum-like splatter behind the wheels of my vehicle - similar to the picture in the advertisement. Followed the cans directions, but the substance remained. Was disappointed, but may be able to use product to remove adhesive residue on other surfaces.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Will this product work well with removing decals body panels on a car?

    • A: You need to scrape off the sticker using something paint-safe like plastic. This product will tackle what's left behind. It worked very well on my tailgate.

Q: Can I use this product to safely remove the decals off my outboard motor? I want to remove old decals that are sun-worn

    1 Answer
    • A: Please use on an inconspicuous area to test for suitability first. Use a heat gun (or hair dryer) to soften and help peel off the decals, then use the adhesive remover to clean up any residue.

Q: Can this remove window film?

    1 Answer
    • A: The best way to remove window film is heat and moisture as the adhesive remover would only work on the leading edges. It can be used to remove the adhesive reside left behind but probably not the best for the main removal process.

    • A: We would suggest trying it on an inconspicuous locations and see if it swells, changes colour or otherwise affects the plastic. If not, use sparingly and wash with soap and water soon after using.

Q: will this product remove carpet glue and or vinyl tile glue?

    1 Answer
    • A: It depends on the adhesive chemistry. Our product was made for common automotive adhesives, so we are not able to guarantee it would work with other kinds of adhesives. It is a solvent blend, so one or more components of it may soften those glues to a certain extent.
