Brand new out of the box at jobsite and oil spilling all over. Tried to exchange and been sent to multiple stores only to be told at the end there is NO RETURN OR EXCHANGE! $730 down the drain with this hunk of junk thanks to Canadian Tire. If I had known when I purchased I never would have bought it. They don’t tell you at the cash and there are no signs indicating this. It’s only printed on your receipt AFTER you have already paid for the thing and even then it just says “2yr warranty”. Trying to be loyal to Canadian stores-DEFINITELY NOT CANADIAN TIRE AGAIN
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: No it does not come with any protective cover. I always run the compactor over my paver just like that. I don’t know if u can run a compactor over a paver stone because the vibration might break the stone. But paver brick is fine. Check my site to see what kind of paver I used the paver for. It is a very good compactor if u work by urself. Easy to load on the truck. Envirogreengrowthandlandscaping.com

A: It doesn’t say but looks like a copied Briggs and Stratton. It works perfectly but ours leaks gas from day 1.

Q: I just purchased this machine. it did not come with oil for the engine or engine manual (as per other questions). I tried to send an email to "service@canadiantire.ca" as noted in some answers but came back "undeliverable. Please note correct address.

A: Just off the phone with Yardworks who look after this product for Canadian Tire. The oil is just your basic 5w-30 or 10w-30 motor oil, the two fill locations are both for the bottom end so fill up whichever you like. The G200f compactor = .60L of oil, G300F = .9L and the G390F = 1.1L of oil.
