The best bubble wrap and packing paper for moving

Is bubble wrap or paper better for packing?

Which one is better depends on what you're packing and what you're protecting it from. Packing paper prevents scuffing and scratches, while bubble wrap protects against impacts that might cause damage like cracks and chipping.

What can I use instead of bubble wrap for packing?

Stretch wrap can be used to hold items together without using tape and is useful for things like loose shelves. For larger items such as furniture, you may want to keep them protected with moving blankets.

Is stretch wrap the same as plastic wrap?

Stretch wrap isn't exactly like plastic wrap, as it's not food safe, thicker, and designed to stick more strongly to itself so it can bundle and protect items.
