Great rake...except it falls apart

Bought this item yesterday - and within 20 minutes of use, the head of rake fell off. And kept falling off, over and over again as I raked my leaves. Very frustrating, although - apart from that important detail - it is a very comfortable rake to use (nice handle padding reduces blisters, good leaf grab). Will be returning it today.

Plastic screw broke right away

The rake provides a screw so you can secure the head to the handle. I screwed it in and the screw head broke off! It was plastic inside, painted to look like metal! I couldn't remove the broken screw shaft from the handle to screw in a new metal screw, so I returned the rake to the store.

lightweight and it works

Our yard is a sea of leaves this time of year but this rake really did the work. It is a bit harder to get the few skinny leaves that fall through the tines but for the bulk of the leaves, it is really good. I too had trouble initially with the falling handle but noticed the screw on the fan that I could use to hold the handle on. Overall, it made my chore much easier to complete.
