Not a nalgene!

6 years ago
Purchased about half a year ago, it started leaking pretty soon after. I kept having to tighten the lid pretty tight. Eventually the lid broke likely from over tightening to avoid leaking. Very poor quality. Tried finding a replacement lid but they don’t exist. Off to the landfill! Save yourself time and money, save the environment and stick with a Nalgene.

No, I do not recommend this product.

It's alright

Bought one of these after loosing my nalgen. Left it in the car (on a really hot day) and the top cracked. Woods don't offer repalcement lids/caps. Tried fixing it but it didn't work. So it's a two star for me....

Not bad

It's a bit thinner than Nalgene but does the job. It's $5 cheaper too. No issues. It's actually lighter too. Good for those long backcountry hiking trips.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Cheaper than Nalgene in more ways than one;

8 years ago
I decided to give one of these bottles a shot after misplacing my Nalgene bottle that I owned for the previous 2 years. It looks very similar to it's competitor and it appeared to be of similar construction and it was a few dollars cheaper so I thought it was a decent deal. Unfortunately after having only owned the bottle for 2 days the printing on the side of the bottle started rubbing off on my hands. It was annoying, but not a deal breaker; though quite surprising after only 2 days worth of use. The real kicker came 2 weeks later when my toddler dropped my half-full bottle when he was walking with it onto my hardwood floor and the bottle cracked open completely! This came as a bit of a surprise to me since as previously mentioned I had owned a Nalgene bottle that survived me 2 years and only got replaced because I lost it and I have knocked it off the counter completely full onto my tile floor and it never broke. Long story short, this bottle may be cheaper but it won't last nearly as long as a Nalgene one that only costs a few dollars more.

No, I do not recommend this product.
