Weber Genesis BBQ Cover, 3 Burner

Perfect fit for my Genesis II grill - fits like a glove. Original cover was fine, but Velcro straps wore out. Replacement is usual great Weber quality!

In less than 20 months this cover developed holes in the cover. This developed because of thin material subjected to outdoor condition such as wind. Also the velcro straps became unsecured due to outdoor exposure. One night a high wind blew the cover completely gone.

I bought a Weber grill 10 years ago along with a grill cover. It fit like a tailored suit, and the material thickness was impressive. Both the grill & cover screamed quality. I replaced the cover at the start of this summer, and by the time I went to use it I had lost the receipt. What I noticed when taking it out of the box first was that the material was a lot thinner, and it didn't fit very well. I tried to exchange it from where I bought it, but they didn't have the right size, and couldn't get a refund with no receipt. They suggested I contact Weber, and I did. I understand the price of products keep going up, but was disappointed that Weber chose to cheapen it's products. I included a picture of my grill & cover which was too large for my grill. (#7757 was needed) A strong wind would blow it off, and it would get caught in the casters when moving it. At $100 retail the first one was premium, and worth every penny. They offered me $20 off a new one if I ordered from them. By the time I pay for shipping I may as well just buy it local.

Long time user of the Weber BBQ Cover for the Weber Genesis BBQ. My first Weber branded cover lasted for about 15 years. Th notable differences with the newer cover is that the material is thinner and more flexible than the older cover. Seams between the cover panels appear tighter and the fit for a Genesis 320 was better and easier to cover. I noticed that the Velcro straps adhered with a solid grip, hopefully that will last since in the past the Velcro straps would fail after 3-4 seasons.

I have a Genesis E310 grill for over 18 years. Back in 2022 I bought a new premium grill cover from Weber and had to replace it because the Velcro would not hold. A replacement was provided last year for the same problem and as of today the Velcro is not holding again. I called Weber and asked to cover the defective replacement cover but now they are telling the Velcro is not part of the warranty. The information on this part says it’s made of durable material but now they are excluding the Velcro. Weber needs to change the product description to except the Velcro because it is most certainly not durable.
