We bought one of these gates a few years ago and have it in a doorway at one end of our living room to keep the dogs out of the rest of the house. I'm ordering a second one right now to go between our kitchen and dining room, so we can contain the dogs as much as possible while we're at work, or when we're cooking in the kitchen and don't want them under foot. Installation was fairly easy - i made sure it was level side to side and front to back in the doorway. I can open it and it will stay at any angle, not that that is an issue, but I think it shows how well made the gate is. The one-handed top latch opener was a selling point for us. We were tired of reaching down and opening a traditional wooden gate with bar latch with both hands. Also, it's very sturdy, looks good, hasn't loosened up at all, and didn't leave any marks in the wooden door frame when we removed it for home improvements. Replaced it easily, exactly as it was before. Our dogs don't paw at it so I cannot comment on the wear - it looks as good as the day I bought it. All I do is dust it. Can't wait to install the next one!

I've only had and been using these filters for 2 days so far but I feel like they are already doing their job. The filters I had in previously had been in there for more than 3 months (way past the time they should've been). The litterbox was beginning to release stronger odors that seemed to linger. I changed the litter more frequently but the litterbox still smelt within days. As soon as I put these new filters in the smells are almost nonexistent. Obviously it smells if my cat has just used it, but the filters definitely absorb most of the odors trying to escape. It says these should last 3 months before needing to change so we shall see!
