Q: Bought a bag of your whole hearted culinary cut jerky treats duck recipe and says grain free but in the ingredients it shows barley flour well barley is a grain last time I checked so why are you saying it’s grain free when it has grain in it???

A: The packages I have (venison and bison) say "wheat free", and while wheat is a grain, I find nowhere on the package that says explicitly "grain" free. While "grain free" would definitely indicate that there are NO GRAINS regardless of their origin in the mix, I'm assuming for whatever reason that the only grain that these are free from, is wheat. Perhaps check the front panel to see what yours say, and then you'll have a definite argument/complaint as to what is on the inside if yours do say "grain free".
