Excellent Fountain

Complements my patio garden. Well designed and constructed. Large reservoir holds plenty of water for the pump. Does not have to be filled up for days, even during a heat wave. Pleasant sounding waterfall. Exterior colour, finish and design aesthetically pleasing. Also has a space for a plant.
Lots of depth for soil, so plant does not dry out. Naturally, this space has a plant drainage hole.
This fountain has brought life to my patio garden.
Even the birds enjoy the top basin. I am so pleased.

wish I'd bought a different style

Hard to level, water runs along second tier and runs into planter, then along deck. Have to fill with water every two days. Not worth the money.

Poor Quality

While the appearance is great, the quality is poor. I have to fill water every two days as there is a lot of spashing. To compound my issues, the bottom basin is made of some cheap material and keeps chipping away everytime I have to access the bottom compartment to fill water. It's just a matter of time before I will have to replace something I purchased 2 months ago!!
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Yes. Check the pond pump section of Canadian Tire. Use the same GPH as is presently being used. Too small a GPH will not allow the water to get pushed up, too high a GPH will cause water splashing all over.

Q: Indoor or outdoor use? Is this for outdoor or indoor use? How heavy is it? How does it work by a plug? Do you need to clean it?

A: Approved for outdoor use. Can be used in or outdoors. Use only certified outdoor extension cord if needed which can tolerate being wet (rain etc.). Comes in sections. End result is heavy, but each is manageable. If I can do it, anyone can do it. Area for a plant is well thought out. Has depth for soil. Has a drain hole.I used some blood grass. Only your imagination limits you. remember that roots can cause damage, so be circumspect in what you plant.
