Terrible garbage bike!
This bike is terrible! Bought it 3 months ago and I’ve spent more time fixing it than riding it! Chain is cheap and falls off the cassette, chain runs on front derauiler, brakes are cheap and are super soft, the decals fall off in a matter of a month and the brakes are garbage! If you don’t now everything about bikes or your not a mechanic don’t buy this bike! No wonder it was half off! The amount of returns must have been nuts! Words can’t specify how bad this bike is. Save up your money for a trek or a Raleigh even. Anything but this garbage chunk of metal. Disc brakes also don’t work! Worst bike I’ve ever ridden. Stay away from it! You’re gonna return it in a month if you don’t.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Avoid at all cost

Please if you really can, stay away from this bike at all cost. I bought this bike instore. The very first thing I noticed is that this bike is heavier then other mountain bikes. Second, maintenance. I've had the chain fall of 3 times just from shifting normally. The brakes had always became loose and I'd have to adjust them pretty often. This bike doesn't have any front fork suspension. Which is quite strange considering the title has "Hardtail" in it. I wouldn't recommend this bike let alone any Supercycle bike. Very low & Cheap quality.

A: I would not recommend this bike to anyone. My daughter was riding the bike and changed the gears in which completely broke the gear shift. We had issues with the rim as well. And no one can find the parts!!

Q: can we change the tire to a thicker one? any suggestion of the sizes that can fit the rim and the bike as well? and do we have to take it to local CT store if we want to request to change? does the warranty covers it?
1 Answer
A: The rims on this bike will accept a slightly larger volume tire, up to about 2.25" (current is 1.95"). Changing a tire doesn't affect the warranty.
