I too hate coiling hose... and was leaving it all over the driveway and front yard. I looked online for a solution and saw this product. I ordered it and picked it up the next day. I charged the battery when I got home, and wound the hose onto the spool the next day. It worked perfectly and continues to do so. Even my son now winds the hose up with no complaint! My only concern is the relative flimsiness of the spiggot attached to the spool. It feels like it WANTS to snap off and you have to be careful not to cross thread it.

Great hose reel,needs better inner cylinder design

Bought this reel 10yrs ago when we bought a home that needed 100ft hose to water the yard. Since both my husband and I hate coiling the hose back neatly ,we wanted to try this. It uses a battery pack which you charge maybe twice a year (hand crank if you need to rewind the hose back in that case). It has worked well until this summer when the cylinder holding the coiled hose broke ..after 10yrs of use. Only wished they would have made that cylinder out of a more sturdy plastic or other material since it had been slowly failing from the day we got it ( can't turn on tap and leave most of the coiled hose on it to water something quickly since that water pressure in hose squeezed it hard). Thinking of getting this again because I dislike the ones using water to rewind, but only when they come on sale ,hopefully in the spring.

A: This has a 2 year warranty against manufacturing defects under normal household use for 2 years from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required. Please contact your local Canadian Tire store for details.
