great tools

I have had my set for over 2 years. I have used them on multiple occasions. there have been no issues other then some of the sockets fall out of the holders when you try to close the box. it will still close but when you open the box up again, the sockets will fall out if you hold the box the wrong way. overall a good product and really durable.

Good Tools Poorly Finished!

I ran out to get this set when I saw it in the flyer. My current set was a twenty year old mastercraft that was still in great shape but the case latches were broken. I was excited to get this set with the 1/2" ratchet included. When I opened the case the Titanium finish was sharp looking. I started inspecting the tools and they looked good. I picked up the 3/8" ratchet and noticed a scratch on it. I ran my nail over it to see how deep it was and to my surprise the finish started coming off. I ran my nail over it again and more of the coating came off. I packed it back up and returned it immediately to the store. If the finish was that easy to peel off it wouldn't stand up to any rough use at all. My old set of mastercraft still have the polished chrome finish and look like the day I bought them. I will wait until the Black Chrome Fat Max set go on sale as the finish appears more durable.
No, I do not recommend this product.
