Best vacuum on a budget!

We have two dogs and hardwood floors, so I wanted something with good suction to get the hair and grit out of the deep crevices of the sofa and hard to reach corners of the house. I didn't want a bulky upright, and canisters were way too expensive (even with half price sales on many) for the few times a year I need to use it. After perusing the usual brands, I thought to take a look at the shop vacs, figuring they'd likely be too big and too expensive, but maybe something more practical I could also use for car and basement would justify the cost... To my surprise I found this small shop vac, for less than any of the other brands even at full price.. got it home, and it was fantastic!!! Grit and dog hair gone!! Most suction I've ever felt in a vacuum!! No need for special pet brush type attachments. Clumps of dog toy stuffing sucked right up. Can hardly wait to do the car now. Rolls great, cute enough but not as fashionable as the way more expensive brands, but works better than any I've had.
Yes, I recommend this product.

A: No you don't use bags for wet vacuuming, only the foam sleeve.

A: The 9.5L Shop-Vac® Wet/Dry Vacuum (2999650) is more suited for general Home and Auto cleaning applications. For Small drywall repairs I would recommend our 22.7L Shop-Vac (54-0224) that can be fitted with both (sold separately) a HEPA Cartridge filter (54-0159) and a High Efficiency dust collection bag (54-0212) Note: use of a HEPA Cartridge filter or High Efficiency dust collection bag is required for fine dust application. For medium to large renovations consider one of our models listed below that come equipped with both a Cartridge filter and High Efficiency dust collection bag as standard equipment.
