Q: WHERE DOES CUT-OFF SWITCH GO? CAN,T FIND ONE ON CAR,MAYBE WIRED ST THRU? CAR STALLS WHEN GAS PEDAL IS PRESSED

    1 Answer
    • A: This part is a fuel cut-off switch. Should a vehicle be in an accident or a roll over,  it turns off the electric fuel pump so that it doesn’t keep running and possibly pump fuel out of the closed fuel system. It is located in many different positions based on the vehicle's make and model. To best figure out where it is located, look in your owner’s manual or a automotive repair book for your specific vehicle.
