It is like having a small oven. It works great. I did some chicken half’s and they came out great. We used to cook a turkey at Christmas and it was awesome

Q: The manual included with MODEL# RO18SSB-3BS-033 states that there should be an indicator light. Mine does not have one. Wondering if I have the wrong roaster in the wrong packaging? Please advise.

Q: I can't find any information if this lid is self basting. Even checking the instruction manual online doesn't say it self-bastes. Can someone confirm?

Most heat-resistant glass casserole dishes fit in the roasting oven. Place in insert pans before filling dish to make sure it fits. Baking pans and casserole dishes should be placed on the rack for better heat circulation. Enjoy cooking!

Q: Meat Thermometer Access through the Lid? Will this unit accommodate a wired meat thermometer via a hole, typically through the lid?

This model doesn't have that feature, so you have to remove the lid to check the temperature of the food. Have a great day!

Q: In comparing different turkey roasters I notice that Rival states it is 120 watts while many others are 1750 watts. If this an error? I would like to use my roster to make turkey and Bread which rewrites maximum heat.
