It seems that the colour coding for the leads is not correct. I ended up with a fire in my wiring.

Great replacement for any trailer plus

good product, instructions and diagrams easy to follow, I had to replace a 4 pin flat trailer plug so decided to go this route which a much easier to plug in and remove than a flat plug no need to worry about the pins getting bent and not working.
