Q: What makes this board for beginners only? The bindings look pretty stable for this board, as compared to another (#82-5204-0) that is labelled for novice and intermediate use. Is there something about this board that makes the quality a little lower?

A: All Boards ct sells should be beginner boards. If your looking for something that can stand more than just the bunny hill at your local ski hill buy a cheap burton or k2 or a firefly(they are pretty cheap with ok quality)

Q: Is there a minimum height/weight to use this board? I am looking for a snowboard for my 9 year old son - just for bunny hills. He is relatively small, so I am not sure if this would be a good board for him.

A: This snowboard is design for a more experience rider and can hold riders up to 170lbs. I good alternative would be CTC # 0825264 - 45" Graffity Board which supports riders up to 95lbs design for small bunny hills and starting out riders and would fit his size better.
