Garden Club All Purpose Fine Granulated and Washed Play Sand comes in an 18 kg (39.68 lb) bag and is ideal for a variety of uses. The all-purpose sand can be added to children's sandboxes for creative building and play or spread over driveways or walkways to increase traction and prevent slips. The sandbox sand can also be used to add extra weight and traction in the back of trucks or vans. As a soil additive, the sand conveniently improves the drainage of dense clay and soils. SAND WET IN BAG!

Ordered online and picked up, when I got home, entire bag of sand was wet so pouring it out in bits to dry it out. Also, because wet, bag was even heavier than advertised. Not as expected.

Q: can it be used in an aquarium? if well rinsed can it be used in an aquarium?

A: I would say no. I rinsed this about 3 or 4 times the amount I would for silica sand purchased at the pet store. It never really washed clean. From the 2 liters of sand I put into a 5 gallon bucket, and rinsing for about 30 minutes (this includes dumping and run-off) I had only about 1 liter of sand left and it was still very murky. In the end I decided not to even try to put it in my aquarium. Too much of a risk. Going with pool filter sand or something from the pet store would be a safer bet.
