We have a small family, but we love hosting friends often, so we were looking for something spacious and reliable that wouldn't feel too bulky. We were lucky enough to receive the Weber Slate 36" Rust-Resistant Griddle (Liquid Propane) from Influenster for review, and it has been a perfect addition to our patio. I was a bit worried about learning how to use it, but it turned out to be really simple. The heat is very even across the whole surface, so you don't have to deal with cold spots or burnt edges. It works great whether we are cooking a quick dinner or a big meal for guests. Everything we have cooked so far tastes great. The rust-resistant finish is also a huge plus, as it makes maintenance much easier than other models we looked at. The cleanup is also very easy, which is a relief after spending time with guests. If you're looking for a reliable griddle that actually makes outdoor cooking fun instead of a chore, I highly recommend checking this one out. It took about an hour to assemble which isn’t bad considering the size and details this griddle has on it. 2 people are definitely needed at the end to lift the carbon steel cooktop because it is heavy.The griddle is very sturdy and durable, I like the wheel lock feature but even if it is not locked it’s so heavy it will not go anywhere unless you’re on a hill or want it to move. It is easy to glide and pivot into place. It was pre-seasoned and ready to go. I can use any of my metal tools on it without messing up the surface which is a big plus. It heats evenly and you can have multiple things at different temperatures going at one time. Everything I have cooked on it has turned out perfectly.The other thing that I like on this griddle is the wind guards so you don’t have to worry about the burners. This griddle is definitely worth the purchase and is going to get a lot of use from me weekly.

I’m impressed that you can cook multiple items at different temperatures at the same time. Our first meal that was prepared on the griddle was chicken and vegetables. The surface is not non-stick so we used olive oil to make the cooking process easier. The meal was delicious! Clean up was a breeze. The grease and small food particles were scraped into the catch pan. We then washed the surface of the griddle with a kitchen towel. We can’t wait to cook and enjoy a variety of meals on our griddle.

The heat distribution is incredibly even cross the 36” surface, making it perfect for everything from smashing burgers to breakfast spread with pancakes and eggs all at once. The rust resistant design give real peace of mind, especially in Arizona heat, and the build quality feels solid and premium. I love how it is easy to clean, quick scrape, wipe down, and it’s ready for the meal. Plenty of cooking space and easy to install. This griddle seriously level up outdoor cooking.
