This stuff works magic!

We had a plugged bathtub drain from mostly girls' fine hair. Trying a hair snake did not bring much in the way of results either, so I bought this as a last resort. I removed the drain plug top, then poured in about half a cup into the drain, waited about 30 minutes as instructed, and then poured in a 1.7L kettle of boiling water. Within seconds the drain was completely clear! I ran the tub tap about another 2 minutes on its hottest water setting just to remove any further residuals, but I still have most of the bottle left for another plug! This stuff is well worth the investment to have on hand around the house.

I purchased this draino a week ago..a lifesaver as I once again plugged my sink mostly with hair. I used a small funnel to pour the draino as we have marble sinks.. Very happy

After 14 years using a shower & plumbing built in the 1940s, the drain suddenly backed up. I came across this hair buster gel and tried it. It helped but not fully. After reading previous reviewer comments, I bought two more bottles and followed this method twice over during an afternoon: boiling hot water down the drain / pour entire bottle of gel / wait 30 minutes / more boiling hot water down the drain. The drain cleared completely and I didn’t need to involve my building superintendent or a plumber. Will follow this same method if I get another clog. The chemical smell was tolerable even to someone like me with chemical sensitivities but I kept the window open and left the room itself.
