Durable, leak proof, DW-safe drinking lids

I've purchased Masontops lids over the years and noticed they improved the design compared to a few years ago. I like that the silicone sealing gasket is easy to remove and that the lids are dishwasher safe. When the gasket is seated properly and drinking lid snapped on these don't leak. I use my lids on jars of hot coffee. If I was to pour out of the lid I turn it so the open lid cover is at the 3 or 9 o'clock position and pour slowly do some air can get in. I found that the older desig lids had an issue installing and removing the gasket. The only negative is the new design doesn't hold the lid in the open position when drinking, so I rotate the jar. I microwave my coffee and can leave the lid on. I use a neoprene sleeve on my glass jars & carry them in well padded bags.

Lids leak!

These are awful - the cover on the pouring hole won’t stay closed, so they leak if you try to transport them. Do not buy, unless you are just leaving in the fridge and not taking anywhere. Also, if you need to shake a liquid in the jar, hold down the cover as hard as you can or it will go flying off. Very frustrating!
