Trustworthy cookie scoop- comfortable, durable, an

I've used multiple cookie scoops from other brands and quickly realized that I needed to do some research to find a durable scoop that would handle frequent use, felt comfortable to squeeze, and wouldn't rust. Honestly I should have known to try OXO from the beginning, and in my research found blog and forum posts recommending OXO Good Grips cookie scoops. While my first medium OXO scoop broke after about 2 years, it was my most solid, durable, comfortable, and reliable scoop for classic sized cookies.

OXO 1.5 tbsp. scoop

I bought the OXO 1.5 tbsp. scoop to make chocolate chip cookies. The scoop didnt last long enough to do 1 batch. The steel rod that runs from the scoop to the gear on the bottom does not hold in place.the rod spins in the gear. The only thing this scoop is good for is muffins, or mashed potatoes. This is my second scoop. They both did the same thing. Do not reccomend.

It's extremely comfortable and easy to use and very functional. Although I sometimes find that it doesn't unstick that well as it could. The size is perfect for small cookies and no maintenance.
