Je l’adore, ma première cocotte, acheter en liquidation donc super bon prix et très belle qualité. Se lave très bien. Encore A1 même après avoir bruler un roti dedans. Malheureusement, elle perd un point parce qu’elle est vraiment très lourde. Je ne la conseille pas pour tout le monde pour cette raison.

Q: A follow up to my bread question. Recipe says to have bread dough on parchment paper. Can I use parchment paper in this pot without causing any damage? Again, the baking temperature for the bread is 450 degrees.

Q: I have a bread recipe for cast iron that says to preheat the pot and lid in the oven At 450 degrees for 30 minutes. Can I do this without damaging or affecting warranty? Would a few inches of water in the pot help during this preheat?

A: Yes, you can certainly place parchment paper in the Tuscan for baking bread. The cast iron casserole can also be placed in the oven for 30 min and high temperate for preheat, however please do put some water into it during the preheat process.

Q: In the feature section of the page it says 'Can be heated up to 500°F/260°C', but in specifications it says 'Oven Safe Maximum Temperature:450°F (232°C)'; what one is correct? Thank you!

A: It is oven safe up to 500°F. Due to a system limitation the drop down only goes up to 450, this has been forwarded to be looked into.
