Great pot

It’s a great pot. I can sauté onions and celery directly in this non-stick pot when I am making a soup. I like the size too. I often make soups with meat balls or matzo balls that must be cooked in broth, and this pot being a big volume pot is great for that.

Q: Is this pot safe for cooking and storing acidic food, such as sour cabbage rolls or tomato soup?

  • A: Yes, this pot is coated with a non-stick coating that will separate the acidic food from the aluminum pot material. This will prevent any reaction od the aluminum to the acids which can create a “tinny” flavour.
