    Poorly engineered lid. Impractical and impossible

    I bought this today and the top wouldn't come off. Locked or unlocked position didn't matter. Even tried poking the lid off with a narrow screwdriver and if wouldn't budge. Only thing I didn't try was pliers. Returned it for a refund and went to buy another one and found they were all like it. The lids on these bottles are welded. The clerk couldn't get it off either. Too bad. I wanted a nice stainless insulated drinking bottle and it was on sale but I'll get a yeti.
