Pro grade knifes, as advertised. Unbeatable value for money.

Great quality for the price, cuts trough paper out of the package. The german steel is has a good hardness. They stay sharp for a reasonably long time, needs occasional honing, works well with my old stainless steel honing rod but I'm considering buying a diamond coated one.

This knife isn’t even sharp. I am planning to take it back for a refund. A knife that I bought last year for less than $10 is sharper.

The knife itself is excellent, sharp, well balanced (as are all the knives from this line) and quite sturdy/heavy. The only downsides are (1) it came without a sheath and (2) The Montgomery block set doesn't include this knife. Would absolutely give it a 5/5 if not for those two "issues." The online shopping and especially pickup aside I would still recommend this knife.

Slices with ease

I received the Paderno fully forged carving knife for free in exchange for my honest review. I have not had a chance to slice a delicious roast with it yet but it definitely slice vegetables with ease and can slice paper thin. The tang fits nicely in the hand and it has a nice balanced weight. This is going to be a perfect addition to my knife set and will be used regularly. While inspecting the construction of the knife you can see that it is of great quality, made of professional grade German stainless steel, made for long lasting durability. It also is long enough to slice through some big cuts of meat with hacking it to pieces. I can't wait to use this knife more! - Product received for free from Butterly.com in exchange for an honest review.
