A: It does fold a little bit...you have to undo the velcro at the top and it will fold up into about a 9" width.

Q: The Type A Aluminum cart that I purchased was the last one and was open. No instructions. I got the cart put together and have used it once. I have looked online for an answer, but found nothing. How does this cart collapse? Or does it?

A: To collapse the unit. Below the grid at the front of To collapse the cart. At the bottom front of the cart, there is a horizontal bar. Grab it and pull upwards. The rod will slide up, along the 2 vertical rods. Inversely, pulling that bar downward will extend the unit for use.

Q: What are the dimensions of the fully expanded bag? Is the bag insulated? What materials were used to create the wheels?

A: I measured inside of Bag Dimensions (approx): 8.5x13in/21.5x33cm bottom (due to rounded corners), 18in/45cm high. * you could add 1/2 an inch at most to my bottom measurements if you don't need to use right to the corners.

Q: How well would this cart stand up against winter conditions? Do the wheels have good grip to manage snowy sidewalks? Is the aluminum prone to corrosion, due to snow, slush and salt?

A: Thank you for your interest in the Type A Aluminum Zippered Shopping Cart. This shopping cart has large wheels to ensure smooth rolling on outdoor surfaces and should not be a problem navigating through some light snow. The aluminum frame is rust resistant. However, there are parts of the base which are made of steel, but under normal use should withstand from rusting. We suggest to do a quick wipe down of the frame and wheels to remove any excess snow and salt to maintain proper function.
