This Paderno stainless steel frying pan is very well made and extremely easy to clean! It works great in the oven and on the stovetop with its extra handle to hold onto when ever removing from the heat!

A: To be honest with you, don't know. But it is at least a litre if not more. You can cook up enough food to feed four people without it overflowing. Hope that helps.

Q: how does the non-stick hold up over time? is it like all other non-stick fry pans that start out good, and then after some use, everything sticks?

A: No, this pan's coating starts to scratch immediately and will lose its non-stick ability within a year. This is not the Paderno quality we once knew. Only in a fantasy world are you going to use rubber spatulas so as to protect the coating. This pan is not made for real cooks.

Q: Can I sit this pan on induction stove dry and wait for it to get hot

A: Although then pan is advertised to be good for searing, Paderno does not honor this under warranty. I had a pan that stated peeling and was denied a warranty replacement. When the pans were first introduced they were marketed near the $300 price range. The price has now dropped but for $129 it is hard to justify.

Q: Is the non stick coating on this pan the same as on Classic pan?

A: hello, Thank you for your inquiry. The Signature (PEI-made SS coated) pans use Whitford Eterna. The Classic (made in China) pans use Whitford Quantanium. Both are good coatings, they just serve somewhat different purposes. Both coatings are designed to be non-stick and last long, but it’s generally a trade off between these 2 things. So the Eterna has better “non-stick” properties, but the Quantanium is a more durable coating.
