It really works on ceramic floor tile grout in my kitchen and bathroom and front hall. And it really saves the knees. Even cleaned spots off the carpet. Many uses around the home.

A: I believe with the proper soap for the dirt i would say yes. The brush would work very well

Q: Is it good to clean grout in ceramic tiles?

A: Unfortunately, I do not have ceramic tiles. The bristles are stiff so I don't know if it would get in at the grout. You might have to use your foot to reach down there. We use it outside on our desk mostly and it does a great job.

Q: Would this be good to scrub throw rugs

A: I would say the bristles are tough enough to work on throw rugs, however, it was originally intended for tile, and other floors in bathrooms and kitchens. I tested the no knees scrubber on the carpet in my office, and I would say you get good forward strokes out of it, but if you pull it back to continue the scrubbing motion, the bristles snag and the brush flips over, so in this case, I would say that the no knees scrubber wouldn't be the best cleaning utensil to use on rugs.
