Acheté et utilisé une fois, j'ai apprécié le système de fumoir qui donne un petit goût boisé aux grillades, on peut aussi rajouter du thym et rosemary avec le bois pour plus de saveurs. J'ai également apprécié le sac de transport avec les poches afin de ressembler tous les ustensils et la petite bombonne de gaz. l'appareil un peu volumineu mais fait bien la job. Il vient déjà assemblé.

Disappointing customer service.

Purchased online and the delivery was quick and easy. From there things went downhill. There is damage to one part, albeit minor. I reached out to customer service via email and was told to either attempt to exchange the product in store (it isn’t carried locally so that’s the first hurdle.) or call the manufacturer and maybe they can help. As it happens the manufacturer happens to be owned by … Canadian Tire. This could have been a simple process. Send out a replacement part. But other than corporate platitudes about inconvenience, there’s no simple resolution to my issue. Some excerpts from the customer service team below: “ Thank you for email response. I’m truly sorry to hear that you are feeling this way. I understand your frustration, especially since you’re dealing with a brand owned by Canadian Tire, which was purchased a couple weeks ago. It's definitely not the experience we want for our customers. “ “ Thank you for contacting Canadian Tire Online Customer Support. I am sorry to hear there is a crack in your BBQ grill. For this issue there are a few options. You can try to call the manufacturer to see if they can send a replacement part. If they cannot then there is warranty for this item at Canadian Tire. This is the warranty information from the site:” I’m sure others can see the irony here.

Q: Your product specs shows total heat generated with the 2 burners is 24000 BTU; however the manufacturer website shows it is only 12000 BTU, which is correct?

A: I'm disappointed. I just bought this today over several other options bc of the BTUs. There were less expensive, versions from other brands with more than 12000 BTUs. This is poor business practice. And, a rubber foot is missing from the original packaging.

Q: The Paderno Vida Portable BBQ has a chain with a wire attached to the back of the unit. The Manual Calls it a 21) Lighting Rod. What is this part and how do I use it?
