In spite of a huge mix-up with around my pickup of this item, we finally got it in the house and in the basement rec room. We plugged it in and it worked beautifully - even in May! (We needed it a couple of times, unfortunately). We are all set for the colder weather now and could only be happier if they had found the remote for it. This was the floor model and I guess the remote went missing. No big deal.

Great piece, and so glad I was able to purchase while it was on sale. Took a few hours to put together, but the instructions are clear. Quality and durable, and looks incredible in our space. So far the electric fireplace functions perfectly.

Q: I found the the fireplace insert does not fit snugly and there is space on either side. Is this normal because it doesn’t look right? I can send a picture if it would be helpful.

A: We have had ours for 2 years now so the assembly details are bit fuzzy.From what i remember the fireplace assembly is an insert that just slides into the open space.I imagine you could just leave it out and mount some type of shelf in the opening instead,hope this helps.
