I bought this a few months back and really wasn't to keen to spend this much on a fan. But it has been a great investment as it's by far one of the best tower fans I have ever owned. I'm one very happy customer. Thanks Dyson

Perfect for office use.

Purchased this for office use as it is a lot quieter than standard fans. The height is perfect for a person seated or standing at their desk. Worth the cost and highly recommend.

I bought 2 nos of AM 07 is too shacking when power on and also too noise when set to speed 5 above

A: It's a fan, not a cooling unit. It circulates air, doesn't cool it. Useful for one room only not a whole apartment.

Q: Can anyone vouch for this fan who used it through the heat wave last year? How effective this would be on the west coast where it got quite unbearably hot last year. The cost is almost as much as an A/C unit which is why I'm asking

A: Hi Dawna, this is David with Dyson. In this case, it's worth noting that Dyson Cool™ Programmable Oscillating Tower Fans will not be an AC unit, and instead will operate as a blade less fan. While an AC unit is designed to chill the air, the Dyson Cool™ tower fan will not directly change the air temperature. Instead, it's the air flow which it is designed to cool you with a smooth and powerful wind, or breeze like effect. Each of the machines have the option of increasing the speed of the air expelled from the unit, which is adjusted with the remote control. Also, when used in conjunction with an air conditioner, Dyson fans may be used to circulate cold air further and faster throughout your room. Best wishes, David Dyson Customer Support
