I bought this yesterday at Unicity, Winnipeg. This a very expensive item $400 plus with tax. As I was attempting to instal it I came to the realization that it does not come with a power card! I went back to Canadian Tire to get that so called the so EZ Connect power cord and they don't carry them! You can not connect any cord do to electronics in the unit, you have to have an EZ Connect cord. I having looking all over the city for this cord, what a pain! Canadian Tire Sucks and so does InsinkEartor! Buy something else somewhere else.

Constant Motor Start Failures

I purchased this product in April of 2025, installed by a plumber in May/June. I have continuous issues with the motor humming and hesitating starting up and very often it will just trip it's internal overload. The unit is never jammed and the allen key will spin it freely. There is either a design issue with the Insinkerator wall outlet adapter wiring, or the motor is failing.

No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Hi Mahmod, thanks for the question. The box includes the Badger 444 garburator, the Quick Lock sink mount (needed to install the unit under the sink), and the discharge kit to connect the plumbing. However, this unit is non-corded, making it ideal for a hardwired connection. If you prefer to plug the unit into a power outlet, you need to buy the power cord (model CRD-00) separately. (765)
