For clearance worth it. Plastic deterrent.

Bought this a month ago on clearance. Area is bad for packages being stolen. It’s is still easy to steal packages. However this is better than having packages sitting on your porch for all eyes to see and easily take. It’s a deterrent in the affect that someone has to come up and search for it. But unfortunately if someone does take the risk it is very easy to bypass the lock and steal whatever is inside

Not worth the trouble

Assembling the box is difficult. Parts did not fit correctly. The springs are tricky to install and the "tool" provided (a paper clip!) is useless - I used needlenose pliers. It did finally go together but required distorting the final piece.

Since the Covid epidemic began, I started shopping online quite a bit. I had always been worried that if I hadn't been home when there was a delivery, the delivery would stolen. Since I live in a place where mail is delivered to a communal post box located down the street and around the corner, my mailbox was no longer used to accept regular mail. So, I decided to modernize by replacing my mailbox with one of these parcel boxes. This parcel box is an excellent replacement! Now I don't worry so much about deliveries getting stolen. The opening and volume are generous so that most packages fit nicely inside. The locking door works very well, allowing for easy package retrieval. This product was an excellent purchase that works very well and provides some peace of mind.
