A dual-locking, blade-release system prevents accidental blade release but doesn't sacrifice blade change speed. Just press and slide the blade-release system for front-loading blade change. Visual and audio cues will help ensure confidence in a securely locked blade. Its reinforced metal end provides reliable resistance against pounding and drops. This knife includes one CarbonMax™ utility blade that lasts 24X longer than standard utility blades.

It's fine but ...

It's okay. I would have preferred one with a retractable blade but this was all that Canadian Tire had. It came with a cover for a blade - a tiny piece of plastic that I immediately lost track of. Also not sure what happens when the blade is no longer sharp. With the change in recycling rules, I need something to cut down all the corrugated cardboard. Previously we just flattened boxes and took them to a depot.

For the blade, it’s designed to be replaceable so when it dulls, you can swap in a standard utility blade rather than replacing the whole tool. Great little knife. Has a very smooth opening action. With a wrist flick it can be opened and closed one handed. Belt hook seems sturdy and it hasn’t fallen off in a week of being attached on my belt. The rounded body edges also mean it doesn’t get caught on clothing I liked it so much I bought a second one
