The trimmer is awkward to trim as maneuvering with the guard and wheel attachment limits how you get in spots. The blower should have a reducer on the outlet to concentrate the air flow increasing its sweep action

The Trimmer is much more under-powered than my previous Worx trimmer. Battery life not long enough to sustain the Trimmer for a small lawn and leaf blower for the immediate clean-up after.

  • A: I think it took about 20 minutes or so to charge the battery and it all depends on the size of your 20 volt battery as well there are several sizes that take more time or less time  and when fully charge the charge would last more or less also depending on the battery size , I hope this info will help you .

  • A: In theory if you're creative enough but it does not have the torque to be cutting. Bogs down in thick grass. Ive heard the DeWalt one has a lotta torque though.

Q: Does the trimmer really advance line every time you restart it, even if it already has sufficient line extended? This would waste line needlessly if I pause every 30 seconds to go to next area.

  • A: I have the same combo and the trimmer does not advance the line automatically. When it gets too small, I manually pull the line out.

  • A: Yes you can. I purchased a spare battery for this set when purchased. The spare battery is larger, but fits and works great. As long as it is the mastercraft ion, it will work.
