This product should not be sold in the market. Multiple false alarms and failures within just a couple of months of installation. Terrible product.

Q: My first Alert alarm has red led light flashing constant..... Why Is That? Is

A: When I set my alarm off by burning something in the oven I pressed the silence button to stop the alarm. I noticed that it was flashing red to indicate which alarm had caused all the rest to alarm as well. When I pressed the button to test the first responding alarm the light changed to green. Perhaps testing the one flashing red would solve your problem. I did have one of my BRKs that would not stop flashing red about a year ago even after testing it so I just replaced it on the advice of the fire department.
