Removes gummy accumulation on coil that dust and dirt sticks to. I use it in the summer. Pause ac, spray and run. You can rinse outside coil if you want.

Q: Self rinsing? The description is confusing- saying it is “self rinsing” but then to spray and rinse. Which is it? And it it needs to be rinsed off, with what that won’t damage a ductless split system. Thanks.

- A: It worked on an air conditioner which had condenser coils. Sprayed it in a drainage hole & on the exposed coils. Black sludge oozed out of the machine. Dirt & mold I’m guessing. - A: I had a bad problem with mold in my RV AC unit last summer. This stuff might help with getting rid of dirt, but it didn't help at all with my mold problem. After a few other things that also didn't help, I finally got rid of the problem with Concrobium Mold Control (available at CT and most other hardware stores).
