Q: Can you use regular tap water for this?

A: Distilled water is not water that has been boiled and then left to cool. Distilled water is the condensed steam from boiling water. Always used distilled water in this product otherwise mineral deposits will build up on the inside and clog small openings that are meant to pass only steam.

A: Yes it has a rear brush that can flip down for tough scuff marks and I generally use the medium setting for hardwood and occassionally the high setting.

A: No, this replaces your conventional mop, really does a great job…just starts to fail working after 3-6 months, I’ve gone through 3 replacements and just sent the last one back to Bissel last week.
