Lousy product, lousy customer service

Dies less than 3.5 years old - 5 year warranty. I called customer service. They sent a 4 slice unit!!! I told them that was unacceptable. They told me it was a direct replacement - lie. Then they said they didn't have any 6 slice units in stock - another lie. They hung up on me several times. It took an email to customer service to get it sorted. Long story short: Lousy product, lousy customer service.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought this unit because my old Black & Decker was not toasting properly. (burned at the bottom just warm on the top).. This unit is not that great either as it toasts very unevenly..

Q: Does this oven have any parts inside that are "non stick" or coated? Basic iCarly is the entire unit uncoated stainless steel?

A: The crumb tray seems to be non stick smooth when wiping off crumbs or melted cheese. I only hand wash it as needed. I have placed my previous trays in the dishwasher but the chemicals are too harsh and makes it scuffed and rusty. I do put the wired rack inside the dishwasher sometimes and that seems to work fine. The rest (walls and glass) is hand wiped anyway
